ErieWalks is a fun-filled 8-week walking competition between Erie employers. ErieWalks combines physical activity with friendly competition, peer support and education to encourage participants to develop the habit of walking, or participating in some other form of aerobic exercise for 30 minutes a day. By walking just 30 minutes a day, you'll reap the rewards of an active lifestyle - increased energy, improved weight management, enhanced well-being and reduced risk for chronic diseases.
 
All of us can find 30 minutes a day to take an energy-boosting walk. Step out and walk Erie during your lunch or work breaks. Walk to downtown meetings instead of driving. Get up 30 minutes early and take a walk before work, or take a 30-minute walk after work or dinner to unwind. Plan a 30-minute walk into your daily schedule, and you'll soon start feeling better than ever. Before you know it, you'll be a walking enthusiast!
